100 Days of K-ON! - Day 70/100
Basically everyone in K-ON!: She’s a really good girl!
Ui Hirasawa: responsible, caring, polite, intelligent, and so on and so forth. Basically, the ‘ideal’ daughter, sister, friend, student, whatever. Of course, with all these qualities, it has become the running joke in K-ON! about how Ui should be the older sister rather than the lazy Yui. Even in scenes where the Hirasawa sisters were kids, Ui was always the one with the more mature air about her. But when and why would Ui become this way?
As we know, the Hirasawa parents have a tendency to be absent from their daughters’ lives quite often because of their travels. However, we an see from some moments when they ARE actually home (the movie and a chapter in the college restart arc) that they are all still pretty close. Still, even as they were growing up, it seems as if the parents were not very present in their lives. Most likely, there was never an adult figure that many kids look up to (ie parents/or legal guadians) to become their role models. So how did Ui learn such responsible behaviors?
